MEDIA ACCESS
Way2Ball media credentials are issued at the sole discretion of Way2Ball.
Approved credentials:
Are non-transferable.
Must be visibly worn while covering the event.
Provide access only to areas approved by Way2Ball.
Do not guarantee unrestricted court, athlete, workshop or staff access.
May be revoked for failure to follow Way2Ball policies, venue rules, athlete-safety requirements or instructions from event staff.
Way2Ball may establish designated media zones or restrict access to specific areas at any time.
COVERAGE GUIDELINES
Credentialed media may photograph, film, interview and create event content from approved areas.
Media representatives must conduct themselves professionally and may not interfere with:
PROTECTING OUR ATHLETES
The Way2Ball Girls Combine & Expo includes minor athletes.
Receiving a media credential does not independently replace any parent or guardian authorization that may be required for the use of an athlete's name, image, likeness, voice or other identifying information.
Way2Ball may designate specific athletes, activities or areas as restricted from photography, video, interviews or publication.
Credentialed media must immediately honor all such restrictions.
Photography and recording are strictly prohibited in:
Restrooms
Changing or dressing areas
Private staff areas
Restricted athlete areas
Medical or treatment areas unless expressly approved
Any additional area designated by Way2Ball or the venue
Media may not create, publish, distribute or sell content involving a minor that is exploitative, sexually suggestive, humiliating, defamatory, invasive of privacy or otherwise inappropriate.
Way2Ball reserves the right to request the removal or discontinuation of content that violates these policies.

Credentialed media may use the content they personally create for:
Credentialed media may also offer event photography or video for sale to athletes and their families, subject to applicable participant permissions, Way2Ball policies, venue requirements and applicable law.
A Way2Ball credential does not authorize anyone to represent themselves as Way2Ball's exclusive photographer, videographer, employee, agent or official media partner unless separately authorized in writing.
CONTENT DELIVERY REQUIREMENT
Complimentary Access Comes With One Requirement
In exchange for receiving a complimentary Way2Ball media credential, credentialed media agree to provide Way2Ball with copies of usable photographs and/or video captured during the event.
Content must be uploaded to Way2Ball's designated media upload portal within:
7 CALENDAR DAYS AFTER THE EVENT
We understand that every creator captures the event differently.
Depending on your role and coverage, requested content may include:
High-resolution photographs
Edited photographs
Edited video clips
Vertical social-media content
Horizontal video
B-roll
Athlete action
Event atmosphere
Parent workshop coverage
Sponsor activations
Awards and recognition
Reasonable original/high-resolution event files
You are not expected to provide every item listed above if it is outside the scope of your coverage.
CONTENT OWNERSHIP + WAY2BALL USAGE
You retain ownership of the original photographs, video and other original content you create unless a separate written agreement states otherwise.
In exchange for event access and credentialing, you grant Way2Ball LLC a perpetual, worldwide, irrevocable, non-exclusive, transferable, sublicensable and royalty-free license to use event media created at or submitted from the Way2Ball Girls Combine & Expo.
Way2Ball may reproduce, publish, display, distribute, crop, resize, edit, color-correct, excerpt, caption, format, archive and incorporate submitted content into promotional materials.
This may include use across:
No additional compensation is owed for uses authorized under this media license unless separately agreed to in writing.
When reasonably practical, Way2Ball may credit the creator.
BRAND USE
The Way2Ball name, logo, Girls Combine & Expo branding, sponsor marks and event graphics remain the property of their respective owners.
Media may display Way2Ball branding as it naturally appears within event coverage.
Way2Ball branding may not be used in a way that falsely suggests:
Official endorsement
Sponsorship
Employment
Exclusive affiliation
An official partnership
unless Way2Ball provides written authorization.
EQUIPMENT + SAFETY
Media representatives are responsible for their own cameras, lenses, computers, phones, lighting, audio equipment, memory cards, bags and other personal property.
Way2Ball is not responsible for lost, stolen, misplaced or damaged equipment except where responsibility cannot legally be excluded.
Media representatives acknowledge the ordinary risks associated with working around an active basketball event and agree to follow all safety instructions provided by Way2Ball and venue personnel.
CREDENTIAL REVOCATION
Way2Ball may immediately revoke media access for conduct including:
Entering restricted areas
Interfering with event operations
Inappropriate interactions with minors
Violating athlete privacy
Refusing reasonable staff instructions
Transferring a credential
Unsafe conduct
Harassment
Misuse of Way2Ball branding
Material violation of these Media Credential Terms
A person whose credential is revoked may be required to immediately leave the venue.
