PROTECTING OUR ATHLETES

The Way2Ball Girls Combine & Expo includes minor athletes.

Receiving a media credential does not independently replace any parent or guardian authorization that may be required for the use of an athlete's name, image, likeness, voice or other identifying information.

Way2Ball may designate specific athletes, activities or areas as restricted from photography, video, interviews or publication.

Credentialed media must immediately honor all such restrictions.

Photography and recording are strictly prohibited in:
  • Restrooms

  • Changing or dressing areas

  • Private staff areas

  • Restricted athlete areas

  • Medical or treatment areas unless expressly approved

  • Any additional area designated by Way2Ball or the venue

Media may not create, publish, distribute or sell content involving a minor that is exploitative, sexually suggestive, humiliating, defamatory, invasive of privacy or otherwise inappropriate.

Way2Ball reserves the right to request the removal or discontinuation of content that violates these policies.

YOUR CONTENT. OUR SHARED STORY.

Way2Ball wants our media community to benefit from covering the event.

Credentialed media may use the content they personally create for:

  • Social media

  • Portfolios

  • Websites

  • Publications

  • Editorial coverage

  • Promotion of their photography or videography services

  • Lawful business purposes

Credentialed media may also offer event photography or video for sale to athletes and their families, subject to applicable participant permissions, Way2Ball policies, venue requirements and applicable law.

A Way2Ball credential does not authorize anyone to represent themselves as Way2Ball's exclusive photographer, videographer, employee, agent or official media partner unless separately authorized in writing.
